Bronx Children’s Museum celebrates the natural curiosity, creativity and compassion inherent in all children. 
Through play and learning, we nurture children to find their voice, fulfill their potential and connect to their communities, the Bronx and the world beyond.



At long last our new home in Mill Pond Park along the Harlem River is open. We are very excited to welcome you in to the first-ever children's museum in the Bronx. 


Please note: Advanced tickets reservations are required during our opening period.

School groups and camps can request guided or unguided visits here.


February 2023 Hours


10:00 am - 1:00 pm

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Museum will be closed on February 7 for exhibit maintenance. 

March 2023 Hours - New Schedule


10:00 am - 1:00 pm

New Afternoon Hours:  1:00 pm - 4:00 pm 

The Museum will be closed on March 2, 7 & 9 for exhibit maintenance.

Living the Dream: Bronx Children's Museum Facility Opens Its Doors to the Public


After 12 years in development, Bronx Children’s Museum has opened the doors of its new facility to the public. Woo-hoo! We can’t express how excited we are to finally welcome children, parents and caregivers into the brand new award-winning space and engage with them to play, explore, connect and soar.

Bronx Children's Museum Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrates NYC's Newest Cultural Institution


After more than 12 years of providing quality enrichment programs to children throughout the Bronx as a museum “without walls,” Bronx Children’s Museum held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the upcoming public opening of its new facility.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice and Children From Baychester Neighborhood Get A Sneak Peek of the Museum


Bronx Children’s Museum welcomed 25 students from PS 153 for a preview of its brand new facility alongside Bronx-native and long-time friend of the Museum U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
