Admission
Reservations are required for all visitors, including Cool Culture passholders, BlueStar families, and other cultural passholders.
SPECIAL MUSEUM OPENING PRICING: PAY AS YOU WISH
Admission is PAY AS YOU WISH for all visitors for a limited time during our opening period thanks to our generous funders and supporters. Regular admission price is $8 per person for adults and children; free admission for children under 1.*

Groups of 6 or more must contact info@bronxchildrensmuseum.org for reservations.
School Groups and Camps
School groups and camps can request guided or unguided visits here. Reservations required.

Know Before You Go
Adults/Children
All adults must be accompanied by a child. All children must be supervised by an adult. Adults and accompanying children should stay together at all times.
Timed Entry
It is highly recommended that you arrive within the first hour of a timed session.

Tickets are valid for entry up until one hour prior to the end of the reserved timed session

No entry after 12:00 pm during a 10:00 am - 1:00 pm morning session.

No entry after 3:00 pm during a 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm afternoon session.

If, for whatever reason, you are a ticketed customer and need to enter the Museum within the last hour of a timed session, please call Visitor Services at 718-775-3450.
Visitor Safety
At Bronx Children's Museum the safety of the visitors and staff is our top priority. As such, if you or your child are not feeling well, we request you please visit us another day. Props and high touch areas in the Museum are cleaned daily. You acknowledge and agree that an inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases exists in any public space where people are present, and by entering the Museum, you do so at your own risk to such exposure.
Footwear
Shoes are required at all times. However, shoes are not permitted in our early learner exhibit area, The Nest. Please bring socks for you and your children if you plan on entering the The Nest. Cubbies are available to store shoes while in The Nest.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your reserved time for any reason, please inform us by contacting info@bronxchildrensmuseum.org. Include your name and order number (if available), and/or the date and time you were scheduled to visit. If you would like to reschedule, please indicate your preferred date and time. We will do our best to accommodate. You may also call Visitor Services at 718-755-3450.
Photography and Image Capture
The Museum routinely capture images, video and audio for promotional purposes. You agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give your permission to use your likeness in promotional materials. Security cameras are in place at all times. Permission is required for all photo, film, or video shooting on the Museum’s property for commercial purposes.
Cleaning Policy
Bronx Children's Museum cares about the health and safety of our visitors. Toys and exhibit areas are sanitized on an as-needed basis throughout the day and during the scheduled hour in between the morning and afternoon sessions. Caregivers are encouraged to help us by placing dirty or mouthed toys and props in the cleaning bins located in each exhibit area.
Visitor Guidelines
By reserving or purchasing tickets, you agree to abide by all Visitor Guidelines and any additional safety protocols in effect upon your arrival. We ask that you review the Visitor Guidelines before purchasing tickets and share them with your family and guests prior to your visit. A complete list of Visitor Guidelines is available here and at the front desk upon request. Tickets will not be refunded if a visitor is asked to leave the Museum because they do not comply with our Visitor Guidelines, or federal, state or local laws.
* Admission to Bronx Children’s Museum is currently PAY AS YOU WISH for all visitors during its opening period. The Museum’s opening period will continue at least through the month of September, 2023. After the opening period, admission will be $8 for adults and children over the age of 1, and free for children under the age of 1. Bronx Children’s Museum is committed to making sure admission to the museum facility will be fully accessible for all visitors. Once the Museum begins charging admission, a number of access/discount programs will be offered including Museums for All, Cool Culture, SNAP/EBT/WIC, and NYC Culture Pass among others. The availability of discount programs will be announced on the Museum’s website as they become available.
