Bronx Children's Museum is located on the second floor of NYC Parks' Powerhouse Building at the north end of Mill Pond Park, across the street from Bronx Terminal Market. The main entrance to the Museum is on the Harlem River side of the building.

Getting to the Museum

By Bus: 

Take the Bx13 to the Bronx Terminal Market bus stop at River Avenue and 149 Street.​ Walk one block west to Exterior Street.

By Subway:

Take 2, 4, or 5 trains. All trains stop at 149 Street and Grand Concourse. Walk four blocks West to Exterior Street. Walk North on Exterior Street. Bronx Terminal Market at the north end of Mill Pond Park.

Take B, D, or 4 trains. All trains stop at 161st-Yankee Stadium. Walk South on River Avenue to 151st Street and one block west to Exterior Street. The Museum is across the street to your left.

 

By Train:

Take the Hudson Line Metro North Train to E 153rd Street (Yankees Stadium stop). Walk South on River Avenue to 151st Street and one block west to Exterior Street. The Museum is across the street to your left.

Parking

Parking is available for a fee at Bronx Terminal Market. The entrance to the parking garage is one block south of the Museum.

Strollers and Stroller Parking

Limited stroller parking is available in the Stroller Parking area near the reception desk. For safety precautions, we ask visitors to restrain from taking strollers into the exhibits areas. However, we understand that may not always be possible. If you need to bring a stroller in the exhibit areas, please see the front desk for a Stroller Pass. 

Accessibility Options

Sensory backpacks are available for use in the Museum at the Welcome Desk. A social narrative will be available soon.

Mill Pond Park

The Museum is situated in Mill Pond Park along the Harlem River. The park has many amenities, including walking paths along the river, BBQs, and picnic areas.
