Inside the Museum Space

Bronx Children’s Museum has more than 10,000 sq ft. of active exhibit space where families can play, learn, and connect with the wider Bronx and its natural and cultural resources through art, dramatic role-play, and scientific exploration.

Integrated throughout the Museum is a collection of commissioned artworks by Bronx-connected fine artists called the Arts Builds Community Collection.

BronxTopia is the main feature of The Cloud, and was designed by local fashion designer Jerome LaMaar. Come move and groove to the sounds of salsa, cha-cha, and ballet as you take on an animal avatar in our multi-media, interactive space. When BronxTopia isn’t running, you can watch a film, take a yoga class, or just relax in this comfy space.

COMING SOON: The Artist's Studio

This gallery space near The Block highlights local Bronx artists, their childhood inspirations, and their current work. Currently, Charles George Esperanza is the first artist to be showcased. In his “Dream Studio,” visitors can explore Esperanza’s early influences and see examples of his artwork, including his children’s books.
