Help Continue Sarah's Dream
Several years ago, the Malawista Family gifted a redesigned former school bus entitled Sarah’s "Got Art?" Bus to Bronx Children’s Museum in memory of their lovely daughter Sarah. Sarah had always imagined bringing art to underserved city children.
Bronx Children’s Museum has operated for more than seven years “without walls” with Sarah’s "Got Art?” Bus — redesigned and renamed "Museum On the Go” — as its heart and soul, traveling to festivals, parades, shelters, hospitals and community events throughout the borough.
The Next Chapter
Now that the museum has broken ground and is planning a 2019 grand opening, Sarah's family is leading a campaign to carry on Sarah’s spirit by raising money for this beautiful 13,000 sq. ft. facility that will house a permanent space or exhibit in Sarah’s memory.
Please help us continue Sarah’s dream by making your tax-deductible contribution today. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to name a permanent space in the museum after Sarah.
Twice the Impact
Thanks to a matching grant, for every dollar received for this naming opportunity in the Museum's space, an additional dollar will go in support of the continued operation of the bus that we all created in Sarah honor.
