BxCM is going LIVE for the very first time with an unmissable video livestream. Join us for our "Unbound Voices, Aloud" panel—where we dive deep into the heart of literacy, illiteracy, and the stark reality of book deserts in The Bronx.

Sponsored by the Diverse Books for All Coalition, the event will feature a panel discussion that encourages engagement around literacy rates, book deserts, and the ways we can expand book access in the Bronx.

SCHEDULE

  • 6:30-7:25pm: "Unbound Voices, Aloud" panel discussion with author Denise Rosario Adusei (Bronx Children's Museum), literary activist Ron Kavanaugh (Literary Freedom Project), and filmmaker Gregory Hernandez (1.5 Million). Moderator: Jennifer Baker (Minorities in Publishing). Editor Foyinsi Adegbonmire (Feiwel & Friends/Macmillan Children's).
