TESTIMONIES

“The experience gained from our children participation in “Little Friends of River” project has helped to expose them to the fun of learning.  Children and teachers always look forward to the many fun activities offered by this program. Overall this program has increased awareness of the children as well as their parents of the importance of taking care of their environment.”

–Pre-K Teacher, BronxWorks

“This program has been an incredible experience.  It has truly helped our understanding of all the amazing things in our backyard! It has been a bonding experience for my students, the parents and myself.  We are very lucky to have these memories to take with us for years to come.” -Mrs. Gilheany, Kindergarten teacher, P.S. 24

“I believe that my students gained a greater understanding of water life.  The program exceeded my expectations and I would love to have “Little Friends of the River” program stop by again and again.” -Renia Morant, Pre-K teacher, BronxWorks ECLC
